Brandon has had dirt and grass in his veins since he graduated from high school. Even while attending college he was working for and running landscape crews in the Dallas/Fort Worth area (as far back as 1995!). During this time he learned the basics of landscaping and the do's and don't for successful Texas landscaping. After 4 years of working and college Brandon decided to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Army.

During his 4 Years in the Army Brandon served at Fort Gordon, Fort Lee, Camp Casey (Korea) and Fort Hood - where he saved 14 soldiers lives during his lifeguard service. He is proud of his military career and received his Honorable Discharge after receiving 6 separate distinction service awards in just 4 years.

Just out of the service Brandon returned to the DFW area and began working for Best Buy as a retail Loss Prevention manager and was quickly promoted. Not 6 months later however, he was offered the General Manager position for a large local Landscaping company and once again found himself with dirt and grass in his veins. After nearly 2 years of blood sweat and tears, Brandon was promoted to Vice President and quickly decided that he wanted to venture out on his own.

JCL Landscaping was born in March of 2006. Shortly before Brandon was married and started what would now become a family of 2 girls and a wife. Brandon is the sole owner of JCL Landscaping and does nearly 60% of the jobsite bidding because he wants to remain in the know and on the ground with his crews and team.
